Specific precautions:
• During functioning and until complete cooling of the appliance, the cabinet of the oven and
the door become extremely hot. Never touch the hot surfaces of the appliance.
• Before using the appliance, place it in an unenclosed space, so that the air can circulate
all around it, particularly above and behind it. Keep it away from the wall. Make sure that
no object is placed on top of it.
• When functioning, the appliance must not be placed in contact with inflammable materials
such as curtains, fabrics, etc.
• Do not use on a surface liable to be damaged by heat or near an electric or gas cooking
ring.
• Unplug the appliance when not in operation or when cleaning it. Always make sure that
the appliance is in the “stop” position before unplugging it.
• Take all necessary precautions when taking hot accessories out of the oven.
• When the oven is opened, steam may be given off and condensation may form. Take all
necessary precautions to avoid scalding.
• Do not place any accessory directly on the steam diffusion plate or on the lower heating
elements.
• Never place paper, cardboard, plastic or similar materials in the oven.
• Never line any part of the oven with aluminium foil. This could cause overheating and
damage the appliance.
