• Unpack the appliance carefully. Install it on a flat, stable surface, taking the precautions
described above.
• Carefully remove the protective film all around the cabinet.
• Clean the oven and the accessories (See “Cleaning”).
• Remove the accessories from the oven. Close the door.
• Plug the power supply lead into a power outlet, complying with the safety instructions.
Note: The first time the oven is switched on, smoke may be given off and a “hot” smell may
be noticeable. This is due to the products used to protect the heating elements. This
reaction is perfectly normally and does not last.

The function selector (7) allows you to select one of the 5 possible cooking functions:
“BOTTOM HEAT ONLY” FUNCTION
- Only the bottom (oven floor) heating element functions.
- This function is used for cooking foods which require gentle cooking without grilling and
for reheating. It is commonly used for cooking dishes served in a sauce, ready made meals,
mashed vegetables, baked fruit, cakes, etc.
- Caution: excessively long reheating is liable to dry out the food : if this is the case, reheat
in steam mode instead.
- The “bottom heat only” function is also very convenient when, in grill mode or in
convection mode, the food to be cooked has been over-grilled on top but is not yet fully
cooked. In this case, you can finish cooking in “bottom heat only” mode to avoid burning the
food.
- This function is used with the grill alone, placed on the bottom or middle level.
- The temperature can be adjusted using the thermostat (4).
- The cooking time can be adjusted using the timer (6).
GRILL FUNCTION
- Only the top (oven crown) heating element functions.
- The grill is used to brown dishes topped with grated cheese or breadcrumbs, or to brown
meat or fish. When grilling meat or fish, remember to turn the food over in mid-cooking.
- It is used with the food placed on the grill (in a dish or directly on the grill), which in turn is
placed on the upper level. The dripping pan can be placed on the lower level, to collect the
meat juices or fat.
- The temperature can be adjusted using the thermostat (4).
- The cooking time can be adjusted using the timer (6).
