• Fill the tank with water and plug the appliance to the mains
• Press the On/Off switch and the button will light up
• Set the desired temperature : set temperature selector of the iron (2) according to the
kind of fabrics (see below table)
• The heating indicator will light up (10); light stops when desired temperature has been
reached. During use, it is normal that light goes on and off several times : that means
that set temperature is maintained in a regular way
• Before ironing, put steam debit (5) at max, lift the iron up and press the steam switch
underneath the handle (1) for 20 seconds, then release 30 seconds and press again 20
seconds. Do not perform directly on cloth or towards people
If you do not know what kind of fabric the article is made, iron a piece of the cloth which
is not visible when you wear firstly at low temperature and without steam.
CAUTION:
The supply hose between iron and base can become hot : take care with burns
When using the appliance for the first time, a smell may occur due to heating of the
appliance: this is normal
