- Do not use the appliance if the power cable or socket 

are damaged.

- Use the appliance in a well-ventilated area. Accidents 

are more likely to happen in poorly-lit places.

- Do not place the appliance on hot surfaces, such as 

cooking plates, gas burners, ovens or similar.

- Do not leave the appliance inside the oven or a 

microwave.

- Do not place the appliance in direct sunlight.

- Do not use aerosols while the appliance is switched on.

- Keep children away from the appliance while it is in use 

and do not allow them to touch it even when switched off.

- Do not place the appliance underneath a plug.

-  Place  the  appliance  on  a  flat,  stable  surface  that  can 

withstand the weight and heat emitted from the appliance. 

Leave clear area of at least 70 cm around the unit.

- When the appliance is placed on its support, make sure 

that the surface on which it is placed is stable.

-  Do  not  use  the  appliance  near  flammable  materials, 

such as curtains, drapes, wall coverings, furniture, etc.

- WARNING: in order to avoid overheating and a possible 

risk of an accident, do not cover the appliance when 

connected.

- Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of a pool or any 

water point, or in wet rooms such as bathrooms.

- Do not expose the appliance to high temperatures or 

leave outdoors, in the rain or in wet environments. Any 

water that enters the appliance will increase the risk of 

electric shock.

- Do not submerge the appliance in water or any other 

liquid, or place it under a running tap.

- Do not use the appliance outdoors, as it must always be 

used in a dry place.

- Keep the appliance away from heat sources and sharp 

edges.

- Do not place the appliance on fragile surfaces or near 

carpets, parquet floors or any similar surface.

- Do not store the appliance outdoors.

Do not touch metal parts or the body when it is operating, 

as it may cause serious burns.

Recommandations :

- Fully unroll the appliance’s power cable before each 

use.

- NEVER turn the appliance on when empty. Observe the 

Min. and Max. levels.

- Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.

- Do not move the appliance while in use: wait for the 

cycle to finish and move it using the handle.

- Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it 

to cool before undertaking any bulb changing operation, 

cleaning task or storage.

- This appliance is for household use only, not professional 

or industrial use.

- Keep the appliance in a dry, well-ventilated place, free 

of dust and protected from direct sunlight.

- Do not leave the appliance running if you are going out.

- Never place plates, cutlery or other plastic utensils on 

the grille while the appliance is in use.

- Do not use the appliance to dry pets or animals or 

textiles of any kind.

- Only use the accessories provided and recommended 

by the manufacturer as the use of other accessories may 

be dangerous and may damage the appliance.

- Never use the electric wire to lift up, carry or unplug 

the appliance.

- Always use the handle to lift and transport the appliance. 

- Take special care when pouring water into a mug or 

bowl as it has just boiled: do not place hands inside the 

appliance as this may cause burns.

- Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for 

use renders the guarantee and the manufacturer’s 

liability null and void.

Specific precautions:

- Boil water 2 or 3 times before using the appliance for the 

first time to ensure that it is clean.

- Do not exceed the MAX. filling level.

- Hold the appliance by its handle and take the necessary 

precautions to avoid burns when it is full of boiling water.

- Never turn the appliance on when empty.

- The lid should always be properly closed.

- The kettle should only be used with the base supplied.

- Do not leave the appliance plugged in if the ambient 

temperature is lower than 6ºC.

- Never use the appliance with anything other than water 

or white vinegar (for descaling).

Installation

Make sure you have removed all packing material. 

In order to prevent possible risk of accidents, do not 

leave items such as plastic bags, polystyrene or ca-

bles within the reach of children.

Fully unroll the appliance’s power cable before each 

use.

Clean the appliance following the appliance cleaning 

instructions in this manual.

Place  the  appliance  on  a  flat,  stable  surface  that 

can withstand the weight and heat emitted from the 

appliance. 

Use

- Open the lid (1) by pressing the opening button (2).

- Fill the body of the appliance (6) with cold drinking 

water.

- Place the body of the appliance (6) on its base (7).

- Plug the power cable in to a socket.

- Close the lid (1) of the appliance.

- Press the on/off switch (3) to turn the kettle on.

- The red on light (4) will come on. The display screen 

(12) will show «ON».

- The kettle may be turned off manually using the on/off 

switch (3) again or will switch off automatically then the 

water has boiled.
