15. Room ventilation
The
Calidia Sintec 770
is delivered with a vacuum pump, that extracts the emissions of debinding
during the sintering cycle. It has to be considered, that the room needs sufficient ventilation.
16. Electric connection
The values for the power connection can be found on the specification plate of the furnace. The
electrical socket for the power connection has to be easily accessible and near the mounted furnace,
so that the connection to the socket can be interrupted fast in case of an emergency.
The furnace has to be connected to a grounded safety power socket, else the safety regulations are
not met.
The use of extension cords and multi-pole sockets is not permitted.
Before connecting the furnace to the power network, the main switch of the furnace has to be in
the „off“ position (see image below).
Make sure, that the available power network contains the correct voltage. The power cord is located
on the back side of the furnace (see image on page 13).
Work on the electrical system may only be executed by authorized specialized personnel.
