applications which generate dust.
5)  Safety boots are recommended at all times.
6)  Use thick cushioned gloves and limit the exposure time by taking frequent rest periods. Vibration
caused by hammer action may be harmful to your hands and arms.
7)  Always use the auxiliary handles provided with the tool. The loss of control can cause personal
injury.
8)  Before starting to work, always check that the chisel is properly locked in the chuck.
9)  Position  yourself  to  avoid  being  caught  between  the  tool  or  side  handle  and  walls  or  posts.
Should the bit become bound or jammed in the work, the reaction of the tool could crush your hand
or leg.
10)  Always be sure you have a firm footing. Be sure no one is below when using the tool in high
locations.
11)  Do  not  touch  the  bit  or  parts  close  to  the  bit  immediately  after  operation.  They  may  be
extremely hot and could burn your skin.
12)  When an extension cord is required you must ensure it has the correct ampere rating for your
power tool and that it is in a safe electrical condition.

DOUBLE INSULATION

The tool is double insulated. This means that all the external metal parts are electrically insulated
from the main power supply. This is done by placing insulation barriers between the electrical and
mechanical components making it unnecessary for the tool to be earthed.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Be sure the supply is the same as the voltage given on the rating plate. The tool is fitted with a
two-core cable and plug.
Remove the main plug from socket before carrying out any adjustment or servicing.
