4.6 Safety
measures
The usual measures for operating installations apply. The
podis
CON
cable must be de-energised before working
on the motor control units.
When the power has been switched off or
a module has been disconnected, the
input connector should not be touched
for at least 2 minutes. Live voltage could
still be present at the connector during
this period.
Never touch any live components when
the module is connected.
•
Even if the motor is not being driven,
it remains electrically connected to
the power supply (400 V AC).
•
The full voltage value can be present
at frequency inverters even when the
motor is stationary.
Never carry out any wiring or
manipulation at the motor when the
module is connected. If a short circuit
occurs, uncontrolled energy can be
released in spite of a suppressor circuit.
The protective conductor should not be
looped through between the loads.
