WIKA operating instructions temperature transmitter T32.xS
T32.1x.0IS (head mounting version):
During installation in areas with 1G or 2G requirements, the following
must be observed: Due to its design, the transmitter must be built into
a housing suitable for installation in areas with 1G or 2G requirements
and inside of which electrostatic discharges can be eliminated.
During installation in areas with 1D or 2D requirements, the following
must be observed: Due to its design, the transmitter must be built into
a housing suitable for installation in areas with 1D or 2D requirements
and which guarantees protection class IP 6x in accordance with
EN 60529.
T32.3x.0IS (rail mounting version):
During installation in areas with 2G requirements, the following
must be observed: Due to its design, the transmitter must be built
into a housing which guarantees at least protection class IP 20
in accordance with EN 60529 and inside of which electrostatic
discharges can be eliminated.
During installation in areas with 2D requirements, the following must
be observed: Due to its design, the transmitter must be built into a
housing suitable for installation in areas with 2D requirements which
guarantees the protection class IP 6x in accordance with EN 60529.
T32.xx.0IS (head and rail mounting version):
When installing them outside the potentially explosive atmosphere,
the following must be observed: The transmitter must be built
into a housing which guarantees at least protection class IP 20 in
accordance with EN 60529.
The wiring in this housing must be carried out as described in section
6.3.11 and Section 7.6.e of EN 60079-11: 2007.
Connection components or connectors for intrinsically safe circuits
must be designed in accordance with Section 6.2.1 or 6.2.2 of
EN 60079-11:2007.
