Cleaning instructions
Cleaning
Before cleaning the bread maker, unplug it from the socket and allow it to
cool down. To clean, wipe the machine with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in
water!
Use only a mild kitchen detergent. Petrol, cleaning agents, scrubbing brushes
and chemical cleaners will damage the appliance.
Before re-using the unit, make sure it is completely dry.
Body and lid
Remove all bread crumbs by wiping carefully with a damp cloth.
As you wipe, take care not to bend the temperature sensor, which is
located on the inside wall of the bread maker.
Baking pan and kneading blade
May be washed manually using mild soapy water and a brush. Dry thor-
oughly before replacing the parts in the machine.
Do not wash the pan or other removable parts in a dishwasher.
Non-stick coating on pan and kneading blade
Keep your bread maker clean.
Do not use metal utensils. These will damage the non-stick coating on the
pan and kneading blade.
It is normal for the non-stick coating to change colour over time. This
change is the result of steam and other moisture, and does not affect
performance.
If you have difficulty removing the kneading blade, fill the bread pan with
hot water for 10-15 minutes to allow the kneading blade to loosen.
