WaveCAST C
To set up a static IP Address:
1. Determine appropriate static IP, subnet mask and gateway addresses for the WaveCAST C.
a. If someone set up your network, they may be able to help you determine an appropriate IP address (i.e.
network system administrator).
b. There should be no other device having this same address on the network.
c. This will be an address on the same subnet as the router.
For example, if the router’s address is 192.168.1.100, the first three sets of numbers will be the same (i.e.
192.168.1), and the last number will be the number you determine for the WaveCAST C (i.e. .You can choose
another number instead of .100).
When you determine this address, remember or write it down. You will need it later.
2. In the web page on the Network Settings page, select 'Static' for the fields to show, then enter the above
information for the device.
3. Click
Submit and Reboot
when ready.
4. A notification will be displayed. Acknowledging the notification will save the settings and restart the device.
Selecting the "Request a static multicast address" requests a multicast address from the router.
Dante
Dante can be set as an input from the front display or web page. Audio routing is configured through Dante
