Check the direction of rotation of
the connected pumps
NOTICE
Rotating field, power supply and pump connection
The rotating field is routed from the mains connection directly to the pump connec-
tion. Check the required rotating field of the pumps to be connected (clockwise or
counter-clockwise)! Observe the installation and operating instructions of the
pumps.
Perform a test run to check the direction of rotation of the pumps.
CAUTION! Material
damage! Perform the test run under the prescribed operating conditions.

1. Press button for “Manual mode”. The pump runs until the button is released.
2. Check the direction of rotation of the pump.

Incorrect direction of rotation:
Exchange two phases on the pump connec-
tion.
▶ Direction of rotation checked and corrected as necessary.

1. Press the “auto” button.

During operation
Make sure the following points are observed during operation:
ƒ
Keep the switchgear closed and secure it against unauthorised opening.
ƒ
Switchgear attached in an overflow-proof manner (protection class IP54).
ƒ
Not exposed to direct sunlight.
ƒ
Ambient temperature: -30 … +60 °C.
The “Pump operation” LED shows the current status of the pump:

lights up
: Pump is running.
ƒ
LED
flashes
: Pump running during the set follow-up time.
ƒ
LED
off
: Pump off.

Personnel qualifications
ƒ
Electrical work: A qualified electrician must carry out the electrical work.
ƒ
Installation/dismantling: The technician must be trained in the use of the necessary
tools and fixation materials for the relevant construction site.
9.2
Operator responsibilities
ƒ
Observe locally applicable accident prevention and safety regulations of trade asso-
ciations.
ƒ
Make sure that the personnel has had the corresponding training for the specified
work.
ƒ
Train the personnel on how the system operates.
ƒ
When working in enclosed spaces, a second person must be present for safety reas-
ons.
ƒ
Ensure enclosed spaces have sufficient ventilation.
ƒ
Take immediate countermeasures if there is a build-up of toxic or suffocating gases!
