Right handling using electric tools

Do not overburden the machine. Use the right tool for the required work. Work can be carried
out more efficiently and safer when used in the adequate power range.

Do not use electric tools with a damaged power switch. An electric tool which cannot be
switched on/off any more is dangerous and needs to be repaired.

Pull the plug out of the socket and/or remove the battery before adjusting the machine, ex -
changing parts or storing it. These additional measurements help to hinder an unexpected
starting of the electric tool.

Store electric tools out of the reach of children. Do not allow other people to operate this elec -
tric tool if they have not read and understood this operating manual. Electric tools are danger-
ous if operated by inexperienced people.

Take care of your electric tools. Check if all moving parts are working accordingly and are not
jammed or stuck, if any parts seem to be broken or damaged (affecting the functionality  of the
electric tool in any way), make sure to repair the damaged parts before using the machinery. A
lot of accidents happen due to poor maintenance of electric tools.

Use the electric tool, its equipment and spare parts according to its instructions. Please con-
sider the working conditions and the work needing to be executed. The use of an electric tool
for anything else except the intended purpose can lead to dangerous situations.

Maintenance

When repairing the electric tool, the maintenance work needs only be carried out by specialists and
only with original spare parts. This ensures that all safety of the machine is still assured.

Attention!

The dust released from working with this product can damage your health:

Always wear protection for your eyes and respiratory tract (dust masks) when working with
sanding/grinding machines.

Do not work with materials containing asbestos. Asbestos is known to be cancerous.

When working with materials containing lead, especial caution needs to be in place: All people
that work with the electric tool or enter the working area need to wear a special mask to pro -
tect them from the lead dust particles in the atmosphere,

Children and pregnant women are not allowed to enter the working area.

It is prohibited to eat, drink or smoke in the working area.

Inhaling or coming in contact with the dust from the sanding (e. g. lead-based varnish coating)
can impact the health of the person. Always wear appropriate personal safety equipment,
such as a dust mask, etc. and use a dust collection bag when working with the tool. The
power supply cable needs to be kept away from moving parts of the machinery.
