The manufacturer declines any responsibility:
• If the instructions of the standard C.E.I. 64.8 (IEC 364) concerning the electric system of
the house are not respected.
• If the installation and maintenance instructions contained in this manual are not
complied with.
• If the steam shower is not used or installed in compliance with the C.E.I. EN 60335-1
and C.E.I. EN 60335-2-60 standards.
• If the special maintenance is not carried out by qualified personnel.
• Please read this instructions manual carefully in all its parts before using the product.
• Keep the instructions manual for further consultation.
• Wilux reserves the right to make any changes considered suitable without prior notice.
• This product is intended only for the use for which it has been designed. The
manufacturer is not responsible for any damage caused by improper use. The eventual
professional use of the steam shower has to be clarified at the moment it is ordered.
CONDITIONS FOR INSTALLATION
• The electric and hydraulic connections as well as the outlet have to be installed following
the designed instructions.
• Rinse the pipes and assure yourself that they are clean to avoid clogging.
• Install a differential contactor to switch off power of the steam shower when not in use.
• Connect the armoured cables as follows: red – hot water and blue – cold water.
• Attention when connecting the armoured cables, connect them without folding them.
• The thermostat is installed and regulated by the factory.
• Check before the final installing that the connections on the backside of the steam
shower have been made correctly, if they are not connected correctly this may cause
leakage.
• Damages caused by calcium-deposits are not covered by warranty. To avoid calcium
deposits we advise the installation of a water softener.
• Make sure that the place where the steam shower has to be installed has a free access
and sufficient illumination.
• The panel of the shower tray has to be easy to dismount in case of technical assistance.
• The siliconated parts have to dry at least 24 hours before using the steam shower.
• The installation must be carried out by a nationally recognized technician, which has to
take into account the regulations in force conforming to C.E.I. EN 60335-1 and C.E.I. EN
60335-2-60.
• The main cable must be permanently connected to a water resistant connection box.
The electricity supply, 230 V.A.C. – single phase -, must be connected by a double
contact circuit breaker (30mA) to the earth wire a minimum contact opening of 4mm.
