Attendant should be positioned on the
RIGHT
or
LEFT
side of chair.
1.
To return chair to the recline position, push down near the rear of
Trendelenburg lever
(A)
with their foot, allowing it to move down
and forward.
2.
Hold the lever in position and push down on the front edge of
the seat
(B)
to return the occupant into the recline position. Keep
hands away from mechanism. (Alternatively, the back can be lifted
into the recline position).
3.
Release Trendelenburg lever to lock in position.
Check to be sure the Trendelenburg lever
has returned to the locked position.
Attendant should be positioned on the

While occupant is in the chair, place the chair into the fully reclined
position. (SEE "Recline Chair From Attendant Position").
2.
Once chair is fully reclined, attendant can push down near the rear
of Trendelenburg lever
(A)
with their foot, allowing it to move down
and forward.
3.
Hold Trendelenburg lever in position & push down on the chair's
back
(B)
. This will shift the occupant into the Trendelenburg
position.
4.
Release Trendelenburg lever.
Chair must be in the fully reclined position
BEFORE occupant can be placed into
Trendelenburg position.
NOTE
:
Pushing down on the seat is recommended for maximum
leverage.
