3.4.2 Emptying ash pan; removing ash from underneath coasting surface
Attention!
Do not open the combustion chamber door during operation. Always turn off the boiler first with the
ON/OFF button and wait until burnout mode has finished.
Risk of fire if ash has not cooled! Store ash in lockable and non-combustible container on non-
combustible base for at least 48 hours.
Note!
Small amounts of ash can be used in the garden as fertiliser. Larger amounts of ash should be
disposed of together with other residual waste (please observe the applicable regulations).
– Using the ON/OFF button on the InfoWIN
PLUS
, turn off the boiler (Fig. 44) and wait until the display has gone
out (ca. 20 min).
– Open cladding door and combustion chamber door – Fig. 45 – and section. 2.2.
– Remove the ash pan and place it in front of the boiler – Fig. 46.
– Turn the handle on the coasting surface cover in a clockwise direction and remove the cover – Fig. 47.
