5.2 Using Physical Membrane Keys
The M133WK Series Ultra-Rugged Tablet comes with seven front side physical keys each with
specific functions to give users a single button access to some of the most popular functions
for the tablet.
Key
Description
Power
The
Power Key
is the main function key to power the device on and off.
To turn on the device, long press the Power key for 3 seconds.
To bring up the Windows prompt to shutdown the device, press
the Power key for 1 second.
To perform a forced shutdown of the device, long press the Power
key for 10 seconds
Lock Screen
The
Lock Screen
Key locks the device from the Windows desktop to
prevent unauthorized access to the device. Pressing this Key will set the
device to the Windows log-in screen.
F1
The
F1
Programmable Key
settings can be configured in HotTab.
F2
The
F2 Programmable Key
settings can be configured in HotTab.
Keyboard
The
Keyboard
Key brings up the full-sized Windows on-screen keyboard
for the user to type and key in information without needing to connect an
external physical keyboard.
HotTab
The
HotTab
Key provides quick access to the tablet
’s functions and
features, such as viewing key settings of the tablet, checking battery
status, turning WiFi and Bluetooth on or off.
Xentry App
The
Xentry App
Key opens the official Daimler AG vehicle diagnostics
software to troubleshoot car problems. The software will allow the user to
configure, reprogram, initialize new components, program, and perform
guided tests.
