7.3 Interrupt Map
Hardware interrupts (IRQs) are supported for both PC/104 (ISA) and PC/104-
Plus
(PCI)
devices. The user must reserve IRQs in the BIOS CMOS configuration for use by legacy
devices. The PCI/PnP BIOS uses unreserved IRQs when allocating resources during the
boot process. The table below lists IRQ resources as used by the PPM-C412.

These IRQ references are default settings that can be changed by the user in the CMOS Settings utility.
Some IRQs can be freed for other uses if the hardware features they are assigned to are not being used. To free an
interrupt, use the CMOS setup screens to disable any unused board features or their IRQ assignments.
