5.12 Handset
The comfort resident handset is also called handset in this manual.
The handset is included in the delivery of the low nursing bed sentida 7-i. It is held by a holder
for the comfort resident handset. You can attach a bracket for the comfort resident handset to
the SafeFree
®
side guard on the left or right at the head end (accessory).
Left connection for
the handset

If the handset is to be switched from the left SafeFree
®
side guard to the right one, pull the
multiple pin plug from the left connection and seal the socket with the attached stopper.
▪
Connect the plug with the right connection after the stopper has been removed from the
socket.
▪
Guide the connection cable together with the handset of the right connection past the un
-
dercarriage cover underneath the right side panel and up the outer side of the side panel to
the handset holder.
▪
The buttons of the handset are illuminated when the bed is connected to the power supply.
Individual functions or all functions of the handset can be locked. This can be reco
-
gnized by the illuminated LEDs of the handset.
