By using the +/- button, you can make the right display of the CareBoard
®
show the dif
-
ference between the weight currently displayed and the saved weight. After selecting this
panel, the display is visible for approximately 5 seconds.
If you have to add or remove additional weight such as cushions or other items but neverthe
-
less want the resident´s actual absolute weight and weight change to stay unaltered, follow
the instructions described below:

Press the freeze button.
Both displays are showing the freeze symbol.
▪
Now put the additional weight on the bed or remove it, and press the freeze button once
again.
The absolute weight and the weight change are shown unchanged again.
If installed at the foot end, the Careboard
®
must be taken out of its holder for weight
monitoring to prevent falsified display values.
To ensure accurate weighing, the weighing system is to zero before use. For this
purpose, the bed must be unoccupied.
