Note:
This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball, which
dimensionally conforms to A50-
1 with a ‘D’ and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
FITTING
1.
To remove Bumper, remove fixings inside wheel arches and along lower edge of bumper.
2.
Remove light clusters (bolts under plastic covers, 2 off each side) remove plastic caps in the bumper (bolt hidden
under each side). When all fixings removed, gently remove bumper, disconnecting any wires necessary.
3.
Remove crash beam and retain for handover to customer. Retain crash beam fixings.
4.
Insert side arms “
C”
& “
D”
into chassis rails with assembled cage nuts attached, and loosely attach using fixings

Place back panel plates “

& “
F
”
and loosely attach using retained fixings
“X” .
6.
Insert main crossbar “A” and loosely attach using fixings
“H”.
7.
Align all parts and insert fixings
“J”
.Tighten all fixings to correct torques.
8.
Cut bumper to suit chosen neck option.
Note: internal skin of bumper requires cutting to suit neck option
9.
(Note: options with retractable electrical plate will require larger bumper cut)
Recommended torque settings:
Grade 8.8 bolts:
M8 - 24Nm,
M10 - 52 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M14 - 130 Nm, M16 - 200
Nm
Grade 10.9:
M12
– 120Nm, M10 – 70Nm M8- 35Nm
