Depending on the quality of your tap water, you may need to replace the water filter
P
at this
point
The water filter ensures that the coffee is pure in taste. It filters chlorine and other impurities
from the water.
>
First of all, rinse the water filter under the tap.
>
Insert the water filter
P
into the holder ring
Q
on the floor of the water tank without pressing it
in.
The water filter loses effectiveness the more it is used. With an average daily use of 8 cups of coffee, the
water filter will need to be replaced after 2 months at the latest (around 500 cups).
>
Set the replace indicator
A
above, next to the tank, to the time when the next water filter
replacement is due.
Water filters can be purchased from stockists.
Even if you do not want to use a water filter, the suction cap
O
must be assembled correctly. Otherwise,
the tank may not be emptied fully when preparing the beverage and the last cup will not be filled
completely.
>
Take the suction cap
O
and insert it firmly into the holder ring on the floor of the water tank.
Make sure that the arrow marking on the suction cap points towards the water tank handle.
>
Fill the water tank with cold tap water up to the maximum mark.
>
Place the tank cover back into the water tank.
>
Place the water tank into the appliance.
