6.4 Power supply and switch-on
6.4.1 Hydraulic motor
Important!
Be careful to compare the pressure of the local hydraulic supply
with that given under "Technical data".
Important!
Lay all lines such that they cannot be torn off inadvertently.
Important!
Connecting work may only be performed by skilled profes-
sionals.
Connect the pump unit to the hydraulic line.
Prior to commissioning, check the connections for correct fit.
6.4.2 Electric motor (option)
Important! Compare the indications of the local voltage supply with the
technical data of the pump unit.
Important! Lay the mains cable that way to prevent any unintentional tearing
off.
Important! Skilled electricians are the only ones allowed to intervene in elec-
trical installations according to DIN VDE 1000-10.
Connect the pump unit to the voltage supply.
Before starting-up, double-check the installation for correct electrical connection. It must be
attached a backup fuse and a motor circuit breaker in front of the electrical connection to the
electric motor. The necessary technical specifications must be found on the type label.
Warning!
There is danger to life when intervening into the electrical installations!
Skilled electricians are the only ones allowed to intervene in electrical installa-
tions according to DIN VDE 1000-10.
6.5 Commissioning
The pump unit‘s functionality has been checked in the factory. Hence, it is ready for opera-
tion and can be connected to a local hydraulic supply.
