Phase Indicators by Preset
The
Configuration - Preset Management - Phase Indicator
tab is where the
Phase Indicators can be enabled to show on the Audio Meters screen or whether
they shouldn't according to each Preset. Generally speaking, the Phase Indicators
should be shown, but if the channels of any pair contain dissimilar material, then
the Phase Indicator for that channel pair should be disabled. This is to keep the
operator from seeing the Phase Indicator frequently but needlessly light. An
example of this situation would be when the Center channel and the LFE channel
are on the same pair in a 5.1 configuration.

Follow these steps to create a unique Phase Indicator setup for a Preset:
1.
If the Phase Indicator setting in this Preset is to be different from the
Common Phase Indicator setting, then uncheck the Apply Common Phase
Indicator Settings box.
2.
Click on any channel pair switch(es) to enable or disable the Phase Indicator
for that channel pair.
3.
When you have finished creating a Preset or making changes to a Preset,
either click the
Save
button to save the Preset, click the
Save & Apply
button to save the Preset and make it the current Preset, or click the
Reset
button to discard the changes just made. These selections can be seen in
Figure 4-14.
