8.6 Leakage test
The leakage test serves to find weak points and
larger leakages. It is named in ISO 9972 as part of
the multi-point test. However, it can also be carried
out separately, without performing a standard com-
pliant multi-point test. The result is an estimated air
exchange rate, which can be used to assess the
leak tightness of the building.
