INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL
WARNING
Disconnect electrical power to any appliance
covered in this manual before servicing. If electrical
power is needed for component testing or
diagnostics, disconnect electrical power immediately
after testing or diagnostics are completed. Failure to
do so could cause serious injury or death!
WARNING
If electrical power is supplied to the appliance, but
the appliance is turned off, line voltage is still present
at the main control board.
CAUTION
Metal edges may be sharp. Use caution when
servicing unit to avoid personal injury.
Unit Removal
Uninstall the unit when directed by a procedure, or when
access to a necessary component requires uninstalling the unit.
Any repair to the Induction Range Cooktop requires the unit to
be removed from the installation.
Uninstall the Unit

Turn off the power to the unit.
2
Remove the unit from the installation.
Unit Installation
Install the Unit
1
Move the unit into the installation.
2
Turn on the power to the unit.
