DO NOT
switch on the amp before properly installing
ALL
tubes.
DO NOT
switch on the amp without installing the power supply connection
cable on both units.
DO NOT
switch to SPK or K1K setting without speakers or AKG K1000
connected to the amp. However, you can switch between the high and low
impedance setting without a headphone connected to the amp.
DO NOT
pull out the tubes and power supply cable while the amp is operating
DO NOT
touch the tubes (
extremely hot
) after warm-up.
DO NOT
leave the amps to run unattended. To use the amp safely, please
allow the amp to cool down for every 8 hours of continuous play time.
DO
turn off the amp when switching from speaker to headphone or vice versa.
This is just for a safety use for this amp. At least, you should turn the volume to
minimum when switching.
DO
unplug the standard headphone before switching off the amp. You do not
have to do this or you will hear a small pop sound in the headphone (the pop
will not damage the headphones anyway).
DO
turn off the amp if the amp sounds abnormally.
DO
allow minimum 2 inches of air clearance for ventilation
DO
allow approximate 3 minutes of warm-up
DO
allow minimum 100 hours of playing time so that peak performance can be
realized
