To Clamp Logs
1.
Position the clamps against the log, far enough down so they are below your first few
cuts. Turn the clamps screws in so they move the log firmly against the side supports.
See Figure 3-10.

Be sure to leave crank in the bottom position to avoid damage to the blade.

Make sure the side supports are positioned low enough for the blade to pass over them. If
