Electrical Problems
WARNING!
Before performing service near moving parts such as
blades, pulleys, motors, belts and chains, first turn the key switch to
the OFF (#0) position and remove the key. If the key is turned on and
moving parts activated, serious injury may result.
WARNING!
Disconnect and lockout power before performing any ser-
vice to the electrical system. For battery-powered equipment, discon-
nect the negative battery terminal cable.For AC-powered equipment,
follow the lockout procedure provided in the safety section (
). Failure to do so may result in injury and/or electrical system
damage.
Height Adjustment Jumps or
Stutters When Moving Up or
Down.
Up/down chain improperly
adjusted.
Adjust up/down chain.
Lumber Is Not Square
Vertical side supports not
square to bed
Adjust side supports.
Blade not parallel to bed rails
Adjust bed rails parallel to blade.
Sawdust or bark between cant
and bed rails
Remove particles
Tooth set problems
Resharpen and reset blade
Sawdust Builds Up On Track
Excessive oiling
Do not oil track
Track wipers worn
Adjust wipers to firmly contact track
Track is sticky
Clean track with solvent and apply
silicone spray
Wavy Cuts
Excessive feed
Slow feed rate
Improperly sharpened blade

of the time!)

Blade guides improperly
adjusted
Adjust blade guides.
Sap buildup on blade
Use Water Lube.
