ASSEMBLY
STEP 5: INSTALL GAS AND WATER THROTTLE RODS
Locate the two Throttle Rod/Knob assemblies which are marked for water or gas�
GAS THROTTLE
a.
Insert the Gas Throttle Rod into the outside hole, located beneath the controller on the front of the charbroiler table�
b.
From the rotisserie service access, connect the end of the rod to the brass gas control tap and secure using the Cotter pin
provided�
WATER THROTTLE
a.
Insert the Water Throttle Rod into the inside hole, located beneath the controller on the front of the charbroiler table�
b.
From the rotisserie service access, slip the Water Control Rod over the modified water valve handle and secure using the
Cotter pin provided�
c.
Turn the water knob to the OFF position�
STEP 7: INSTALL CONNECTION FLASHING BETWEEN THE
CHARBROILER AND THE ROTISSERIE
Install the stainless steel flashing pieces (provided) to cover the space
between the rotisserie and the charbroiler and also between the Charbroiler
and the controller housing� No fasteners are required to hold the pieces in
place� See the picture at left for the proper positioning of the flashing�

STEP 6: PLACEMENT OF THE MONTAGUE LEGEND CHARBROILER
Place the charbroiler on the charbroiler table such that its side is against the controller housing and its rear is against the front of
the rotisserie cabinet� Adjust the broiler legs so that the top of the broiler is flush with the top of the controller housing�
Make sure to install the regulator piping assembly onto the inlet on the back of the Montague broiler� Failure to do so can result in
damage to the Montague broiler and the rotisserie�
