Before Seeking Service Do These Simple Checks

Condition – Unit is Not Working

Is the dehumidifier connected to the electrical supply?
Has a fuse or circuit breaker blown? (check the outlet with another appliance)
Is the humidity control setting set in a high enough position to operate?
Is the water container full and need to be emptied?

Condition - Moisture Removal Seems Insufficient

Are the dehumidifier vents and air filter clear of obstructions and dirt?
Is there sufficient airflow around the unit for the location selected?

Fan Speed Setup Display

Humidity Level Setup Bar

The humidity level setting bar with numbers will be displayed. The ‘UP’ and
‘DOWN’ arrows can be used to change the humidity setpoint. The desired
humidity level will be shown as solid blocks and flash on the LCD display.
Once the setting bar reaches the highest block, the control will switch to Fan-
Only Mode ( indicated by * at the top of the humidity scale), and the compres-
sor will be turned off.

Alarm control

Pressing the ‘MENU’ button again, a bell icon will be displayed on the LCD
screen. The ‘UP’ & ‘DOWN’ button can be used to enable or disable the
alarm option. The bell icon will show ‘ringing lines’ when option is enabled.

Temperature Display

By pressing the ‘MENU’ button again, the temperature readout will flash
with the current scale (°C or °F). Pressing the ‘UP’ or ‘DOWN’ arrow will
change the scale display.

Exit from Setup-Mode

Pressing the‘MENU’ button again will bring the control back to Operating
Mode.

Cleaning Exterior Parts

The molded plastic cover makes dry dusting quick and easy.  If exterior parts
need to be cleaned use a mild soap and water solution.  Be sure to unplug the
unit from its electrical supply before cleaning with soap and water.

Cleaning the Air Filter

The air filter is removable and washable.  In order to remove the air filter the
water container must first be removed.  The air filter and its frame are removed
from the dehumidifier body by pulling down on the air filter frame.  The air filter
can then be removed from its frame by opening the hinged
frame.  For best cleaning results the filter should be washed
in a mild soap solution and water.  Allow the air filter to
dry before reinstalling. Torn or ripped filters should be
replaced with a new filter.  Replace the filter in the filter
frame and then reinstall the frame in the dehumidifier.

Condition - Moisture Removal Seems Insufficient

Is the humidity control set low enough for the desired results?

Important – Allow 3 minutes before turning the dehumidifier on after it
stops to allow all internal functions to reset.

This appliance complies with the suppression requirements of EEC directive 76/
889 + 82/499.  Recommended limits of use:  Temperatures: 5 to 35°C
Relative humidity: 30 to 80%.
