While standing out of the way of potential kick
back, place the workpiece on the conveyor and
allow the conveyor to pull the workpiece in.
8.
Observe the amp load gauge.
—If the amps begin to climb to the red zone,
IMMEDIATELY rotate the handwheel so the table is
lowered and the sanding depth is reduced.
9.
Receive the workpiece from the outfeed side of
the conveyor, measure the workpiece, readjust the
sanding depth, and make a second sanding path
while watching the amp load gauge.
10.
Repeat as required to get your sanding results.
Note:
To get good sanding results you will almost
always need to make two to three sanding passes.
