Phase Compensation (ABC Phase System)
Please note: This section applies only if a step up transformer is part of the protected differential zone.
Note that the phase shift n is specified as a multiple of -30°. A positive n means the secondary is lagging the
primary side. The User must select carefully the right number based on the winding connections. The following table
lists the typical transformer connection types and their corresponding phase shifts for ABC phase sequence.
