RISK OF
INJURY!
Be extremely careful when walking backwards
. You may stumble
!
RISK OF
INJURY!
If there is a risk of slipping when working on a slope, in that case the equipment must be
held by one accompanying person by a pole or rope. The person must be above the unit
at a sufficient distance from the blades. Always work transversely to a slope, never up and
down. Always be very careful when changing direction.
RISK OF
INJURY!
Remove jammed objects with suitable tools. Before carrying out any maintenance or
repair work, unplug the machine and secure it against unintentional power-on.
RISK OF
INJURY!
Never lift or carry the electric tiller with the engine running.
RISK OF
INJURY!
During use and immediately after use, the blades and gearbox may be hot! Wear gloves
when performing maintenance work.
RISK OF
MACHINE
DAMAGE!
Never move the electric tiller on concrete, asphalt, etc. with the tilling blades rotating.
- Do not overload the device!
- If the motor is overloaded it will switch off immediately. The machine cannot be used until it has cooled
down completely.
- Do not add any additional load on the tiller.
- Be careful with the extension cable when working with the tiller. Be careful not to touch the cable. Make
sure that the extension cables never come into contact with the tilling blades. The tilling blades could damage
the insulation of the extension cord, which could result in a risk of electric shock when touching a part of the
body and the exposed wire if it is under voltage.
- WARNING!
Do not use the cultivator near underground electric or telephone cables, pipes and hoses. If the
cultivator encounters a foreign object, switch it off immediately. Wait for the blades to stop and check for
damage. If necessary, contact an authorized service center before continuing. If the cultivator starts to vibrate
excessively, turn it off immediately and look for the cause. Vibration is usually a sign of a problem.
- Symptoms of excessive vibration are tingling sensation in hands or even numbness. In this case, shorten the
work, interrupt it with sufficiently long breaks, distribute it among several people or, in the case of long -term
use of the tiller, use special anti-vibration gloves.
-
CAUTION!
The electric tiller may jump up and / or forward if the blades hit very hard or frozen ground or
obstacles hidden in the ground such as large stones, roots or stumps.
- If the cultivator digs deep and stays in one place, gently rock it from side to side until it begins to move
forward again.
MAINTENANCE
RISK OF
INJURY!
Do not clean the blades when the engine is running. Before carrying out any inspection
or maintenance work, switch off and unplug the appliance and secure it against
unintentional switching on. Perform only the maintenance work described here.
Improper work may result in damage to the machine and thus injuries.
