d. When they are not in use, store power tools out of the reach of children. Persons
who are unfamiliar with the power tool or who have not read these instructions
must never be allowed to use it. Power tools are dangerous when used by
inexperienced persons.
e. Maintain power tools and insertion tools with care. Ensure that moving parts
of the power tool function properly and do not jam and check whether parts
are broken or are damaged in such a way that the device function is impaired.
Have the damaged parts repaired before using the power tool. Many accidents
are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
f. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Carefully maintained cutting tools with sharp
cutting edges jam less often and are easier to control.
g. Use power tools, insertion tools, etc. according to these instructions. Give due
consideration to work conditions and the task to be executed. Using power tools
for applications other than their intended use can lead to dangerous situations.
h. Keep the handles dry, clean and free of oil or grease. Slippery handles and grip
surfaces do not allow safe operation and control of the power tool in unforeseen
situations.
5. Use and treatment of the battery-powered tool
a. Only charge the batteries in charging devices recommended by the manufacturer.
Using a charging device that is intended for a certain kind of battery for a different
kind of battery can cause a fire hazard.
b. Only use the intended kind of battery with your power tool. The use of other
batteries can lead to injuries and fire hazards.
c. Keep any batteries that aren’t being used away from paper clips, coins, keys, nails,
screws or other small metal objects that could cause a bridging of the contacts. A
short-circuit between the battery contacts can cause burns or fire hazards.
d. If the battery isn’t used properly, liquid may leak out of it. Avoid any contact
with it- Rinse off with water if you come into contact with it. Should any liquid
come into contact with your eyes, also consult your doctor. Leaking battery fluid
can lead to skin irritations or burns.
