14. Rim speed of the wet sanding disc
The maximum rim speed of the wet sanding disc is:
Ø 200 = 1.37 m/s
Calculation: Rim speed
m/s = d x 3.14 x n
60 x 1000
d = diameter of the sanding disc in mm
n = motor rotation speed per minute
Example:
m/s = 200 x 3,14 x n
60 x 1000
= 1.37 m/s
15. Caution when handling water
Switch off the sander, disconnect the mains plug. When you fill the water tank, spill
as little water as possible and do not let any water run over the motor. Wipe away
any spilled water. The maximum water tank capacity amounts to approx. 0.5 l.
Service and Maintenance
• All service and maintenance may only be carried out with the power plug pulled out
of the electrical socket.
• When the grinding machine becomes dirty, you can clean the surfaces with a cloth.
• The grinding machine must be stored or operated in a dry and airy room. The machine
should be protected from aggressive gases. The grinding machine may not be used in
areas with a risk of explosion.
• In the event of malfunctions of the grinding machine, please contact a specialist. Do
not carry out repairs by yourself under any circumstances. Have all repairs carried out
only by specialists.
• Always use only the original accessories of the manufacturer.
Assembly
Remove the power tool from the packaging. Do not plug it into the electrical grid before
assembly.
Unpacking, Assembling and Adjusting
• Open the packaging and check whether all components are present.
• Check the grinding machine for visible defects.
• Read the operating manual.
• Fasten the grinding machine to the work space with screws.
• Adjust the upper spark guard so that the maximum distance between the grinding
wheel and the spark guard is < 2 mm. (Fig. 1 through 3)
• Adjust the workpiece support so that the maximum distance between the grinding
wheel and workpiece support is < 2 mm. (Fig. 2 through 3)
