Emissions
Noise emissions and oscillation levels were determined according to EN 60745.
• The indicated oscillation emission value was measured using a standardised test
procedure and can be used with another power tool for comparison.
• The oscillation emission value can also be used for an initial estimate of the exposure.
Safety measures for the protection of the operator based on an estimate of the exposure
during actual utilisation conditions are to be specified.
• The oscillation emission value can differ from the indicated value during the actual use
of the power tool, depending on the way in which the power tool is used.
Use
The power hand planer is designed for planing, rebating, and chamfering pieces of
wood.
Voltage
Before placing the device in service ensure that the voltage specified on the rating plate
agrees with the supply voltage.
Switch
The power hand planer is equipped with a safety switch. To switch the device on, first
press the lock button and then press the switch button. Release the switch button to
switch off the power hand planer. The switch button will return to its original position.
Chip extraction
For optimal chip extraction, you can connect the dust bag (9) to the electric hand planer.
To do this, slide the dust bag (9) into the chip ejector on the side of the electric hand
planer. Optionally, the dust bag (9) can be connected to the chip ejector on the left or
right (8). The chip ejectors (8) can be selected using the selection switch (13).
Adjusting the planing depth
The planing depth can be adjusted from 0-2 mm by turning the adjusting and guide
knob to the left or right. Always turn the adjusting knob until it locks in place. After
ending work, adjust the planing depth in such a manner that the blade is lowered and
thus protected against damage. Adjust the planing depth to 0. A support table is a good
place to set down the planer.
