− Never place the cordless drill, the rechargeable battery or the
charger on or near hot surfaces (e.g. stovetops etc.).
− Ensure that the mains cord of the charger does not come into
contact with hot parts.
− Never expose the cordless drill, the rechargeable battery or
the charger to high temperatures (heaters etc.) or to the ef-
fects of the weather (rain etc.).
− Never attempt to clean the cordless drill, the rechargeable
battery or the charger by immersing them in water and do not
use a steam cleaner to clean them.
− Stop using the cordless drill, the rechargeable battery or the
charger if the plastic components exhibit cracks or breaks or
are deformed. Only replace damaged parts with correspond-
ing original spare parts.

Danger of suffocation!
Do not allow children to play with the packaging material. Children can
become trapped in the packing material when playing and suffocate.
− Keep children away from the packaging material.
1. Remove the packaging material and all protective foils.
2. Check to make sure that the delivery is complete (see
fig. A
and
B
).
3. Take the cordless drill out of the storage case

and check whether the cordless
drill or the individual parts exhibit damage. If this is the case, do not use the cord-
less drill. Contact the manufacturer via the service address indicated on the war-
ranty card.
