Cooling systems
ECRESO FM 5kW/10kW transmitters are supplied with a ventilation
system adapted to the site configuration: cold air can be retrieved
from the room, at the bottom or at the top, and hot air can be
expelled from the top or from the bottom. A version of the
transmitter is also available where an external cooling system is
required.
In order to provide maximum uptime, a redundant air cooling
configuration can be provided. Two additional fans can thus be
added at the top input and output.
All fans are enslaved to the system temperature: the loss of one fan
does not impact overall temperature.

The air inlet must be clear.
If hot air is evacuated through a pipe longer than
5 m, an additional fan is required.

outlet. Plan for a sufficiently large hole under the
transmitter to accommodate the installation:
