8.2.
Connecting to the embedded web site
For remote access, connect to the transmitter’s embedded web
site. Simply open a web browser (Google Chrome,
Mozilla Firefox …) and enter the transmitter’s IP address in the address bar (set on the front panel).
Though the web application is compatible with most browsers, performances vary from one browser to another.
For optimal performances, Google Chrome is recommended.
The browser may display a message indicating that the connection is not certified; however, the site is secured
(data is encrypted) and you may proceed to access it. To prevent these potential blocking and warning messages,
WorldCast Systems now supplies certificates for HTTPS browsing, see section 8.6.5 for more information.
Select the language if necessary.
Enter the user name and password; the screen name is used to chat:
The information in the right frame makes it easier to identify the transmitter before you connect.
