Menu Functions

[01: SQL-LE] Squelch Level

Function: The squelch function allows you to set the threshhold of the signal strength 

received and mutes the speaker when no signal is detected. Selecting a lower 

number will allow weaker signals to be heard, higher numbers require a 

stronger signal. Selecting [0] will unmute the speaker at all times.

Options: 0-9

Default: 5

[02: SAVE] Power Save

Function: Activates the battery saver feature. When active, the radio will scan less fre-

quently for signals, improving battery life.

Options: ON/OFF

Default: ON

[03: ROGER] Roger Beep

Function: Enables an audible roger beep prompt during transmission.

Options: OFF/BOT/EOT/BOTH
