Step #1: Install WPS-5 and WPS-78P

Wrench
Slide the 7/8” seal ring onto the 7/8”
cable, then the WPS-5 8–12” from the
end prior to cable preparation.
Connect the UXP-DF-78 to the antenna
port or device and hand tighten.
Prep and install the 7/8” cable to install the
UXP-DF-78 connector. Refer to the UXP-78
installation instructions. Slide
connector
port seal (included with connector) onto
UXP-DF-78 just behind the threads.
Torque the connector to 18 ft. lbs. using
the TQ-114-F18 torque wrench and
adjustable wrench.
Slide the dedicated 7/8” port seal onto
the port by stretching seal over the
coupling nut.
Step #3: Install PPC WPS to Seal Interface
Pull the dedicated 7/8” port seal over
coupling nut. Seal should cover nut.
Slide the WPS-5 over the UXP-DF-78, making
sure to overlap the 7/8” dedicated port seal.
WPS-5 should overlap to cover grooves.
Slide the 7/8” seal ring over the
WPS-5 to align with the leading
edge of the WPS-5.
