tion of the device.

Keep the workplace always dry and well
illuminated.
The mains voltage must be the same as the
voltage specified on the name plate.
■
The vapours generated during soldering are
hazardous to your health. If applicable use a
suitable suction system or ventilate the room
appropriately.
■
Touch the soldering iron only at the handle to
avoid burns. The entire front of the soldering
iron heats up during operation.
■
Do not deposit the soldering iron on a highly
combustible surface.
■
Do not use the soldering station in explosive
atmospheres or near flammable liquids, gases
or dust.
■
Prior to maintenance or cleaning work, unplug
the soldering station and allow the soldering
iron to cool down completely.
■
Check the cords regularly for damages (risk of
electric shock). Damaged cords must not be
replaced. A damaged soldering station must
be recycled in an environmentally compatible
manner.
■
Never perform work on live components.
■
Keep the unused soldering station out of the
reach of children. Never allow persons who
are unfamiliar with this type of soldering sta-
tion to use it, nor anyone who has not read
these instructions.
■
This soldering iron is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and/or knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruc-
tion concerning use of the soldering station by
a person responsible for their safety.

Only use genuine Würth accessories
and spare parts.
