Working instructions
Grinding / sanding
▸
Apply moderate pressure with the machine and
move back and forth across the surface so that the
workpiece surface does not become too hot.
Roughing
▸
A good working result is obtained with a working
angle of 30° - 40°.
Cut-off grinding
Attention!
¾
Always work up-milling mode during cut-off
grinding!
Â
Otherwise there is a risk of the machine jumping
uncontrolled out of the cut.
▸
Work with moderate feed adapted to the material
being cut. Do not tilt, press or oscillate.
Working with wire brushes
▸
Apply moderate pressure with the machine.

Troubleshooting
Overload protection
•
The load speed drops
sharply
.
— The motor temperature is too high!
▸
Allow the machine to run at idle speed until it has
cooled down.
•
The load speed drops
slightly
.
— The machine is being overloaded.
▸
Continue to work with a reduced load.
Safety cut-off:
•
The machine was
switched off
automatically.
—
The machine is switched off in the event of an
excessive current increase rate
(such as can occur e.g. in the event of sudden
jamming or a recoil).
▸
Switch off the machine at the trigger switch
[1]
.
▸
Then switch on again and continue to work
normally.
▸
Avoid further jamming.
Restarting protection
•
Machine not running.
— The restart protection device has tripped. If the
mains plug is inserted with the machine switched
on, or if the power supply is restored after an
interruption, the machine does not start.
