Intended Use
The machine is intended for wet drilling in tiles and
natural stone slabs/flagstone with the use of dia-
mond drill bits or original Würth diamond tile core
bits.
The user is responsible for damage caused by usage
other then intended.
Initial Operation
Observe correct mains voltage:
The voltage of the
power source must agree with the voltage specified
on the nameplate of the machine.
Adjusting the Auxiliary Handle
Loosen the handle screw

on the auxiliary handle

and turn the auxiliary handle to the working posi-
tion.
Tighten the handle screw again.
Checking the PRCD Residual Current Device
Each time before starting operation, the
proper function of the PRCD residual current
device must be checked. Make sure that the On/
Off switch 6 is set to off in order to avoid uninten-
tional starting of the machine.
– Push the “RESET” button

on the PRCD residual
current device. The red control light

indicates
that the residual current device is ready for operati-
on.
– Push the “TEST” button

. The control light

must go out.
Otherwise, the machine may not be
used.

If the PRCD residual current device should
actuate during operation, switch the On/Off
switch 6 off in order to avoid unintentional restart-
ing of the machine. Check if water has penetrated
into the machine. Only switch the machine on
again when the motor housing is dry.
