Use the blockage clearance lever, clear all jammed nails and,
if necessary, manually draw the driver blade back.

If the device jams repeatedly (the blockage clearance lever
must be turned), select the appropriate material and the ap-
propriate nail length so that the application is not too difficult.
Nail debris in the nosepiece
Clean the nose area and inspect thoroughly for small parts of
broken nails that could be stuck in the guide.
The device operates but
the nails are not driven
fully home.
The depth has been set too shallow.
Turn the depth adjustment to a deeper setting.
Device not placed firmly against the
workpiece.
Press down on the device sufficiently to ensure in it is firmly
against the workpiece.
