Working Advice
Position the fixed rollers
8
of the guard against the sur-
face to be cut and start the power tool.
When cutting, apply slight pressure against the dia-
mond cutting disc.
Always move the power tool in the arrow direction on
the movable guard.
When cutting vertical slots, work from top to bottom. In
this manner, you can take advantage of the wall-slot
cutter's weight and exert less force.
When cutting horizontal slots, work from right to left,
applying only enough pressure to move the power tool
along. Excessive pressure can overload the motor,
especially when cutting hard and compact surfaces,
which is indicated through a significant reduction of the
speed and overheating.
Dust Extraction
The machine can be connected directly to the socket
outlet of a WÜRTH industrial vacuum cleaner with
remote control operation. The vacuum cleaner is auto-
matically starting when switching on the machine.
For dust extraction, connect the vacuum-hose connec-
tion with the cut-to-size adapter and insert it into the
dust-extraction sleeve. For this, use the special adapter
(702 400 042, accessory).
When cutting, always use dust
extraction, as otherwise, the motor
will quickly clog up with masonry
dust and become damaged.
Observe the relevant regulations in your country for the
materials being worked on.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Before any work on the machine itself,
pull the mains plug.
For safe and proper working, always
keep the machine and ventilation slots
clean.
If the machine should fail despite the care taken in man-
ufacturing and testing procedures, repair should be
carried out by a Würth master-Service.
In all correspondence and spare parts orders, please
always include the article number given on the type
plate of the machine.
The current spare parts list for this power tool can be
viewed in the Internet under
“http://www.wuerth.com/partsmanager”
or be requested from your next Würth branch office.

Noise/Vibration Information
Measured sound values determined according to
EN 60745.
Typically the A-weighted noise levels of the product
are: Sound pressure level 97.5 dB(A); Sound power
level 135 dB(A). Uncertainty K=3 dB.
Wear hearing protection!
Overall vibrational values (vector sum of three direc-
tions) determined according to EN 60745: Vibrational
emission value a
h
<2.5 m/s
2
, uncertainty K=0.5 m/s
2
.
The vibration emission level given in this information
sheet has been measured in accordance with a stand-
ardised test given in EN 60745 and may be used to
compare one tool with another. It may be used for a
preliminary assessment of exposure.
