11.2. Pull the front of the left cheek pad towards the inside of the helmet to undo the
snap fasteners on its back (Fig. 14).
11.3. Completely remove the padding of the left cheek pad from the helmet by pull-
ing the chin strap out of the slot on the left cheek pad.
11.4. Repeat these steps with the padding of the right cheek pad.
Note: It is not necessary to remove the polystyrene cheek pads from the helmet shell.
12.
Liner disassembly
12.1. Release the roll neck eyelet from the frame fixed to the outer shell (Fig. 15).
12.2. Unhook the left rear flap of the liner from the support fixed to the polystyrene
inner shell by slightly pulling the comfort padding towards the inside of the hel-
met. Then repeat the same step to remove the central flap as well as the right
flap (Fig. 16).
12.3. Hold the left front part of the liner and pull it upwards in order to remove the
liner flap from the support fixed to the polystyrene inner shell. Then repeat the
same step to remove the central front and right flap (Fig. 17).
12.4. Completely remove the liner from the helmet.
13.
Liner assembly
13.1. Insert the liner correctly into the helmet and fit it well against the base.
13.2. Insert the left front flap of the liner into its seat on the support fixed to the pol-
ystyrene inner shell and push it downwards until it is completely locked. Follow
the same steps for the central and right flap (Fig. 17).
NOTE: Check the correct assembly of the liner front area by lifting and lowering
the VPS. These movements should be smooth. If this is not the case, repeat the
steps 12.3 and 13.2.
13.3. Insert the rear right, central and left flaps of the liner into the relevant support
seats in the helmet neck-ring area. Push the flaps until they are fully hooked
onto the support (Fig. 16).
NOTE: Insert the left and right side flaps of the liner roll neck between the edge
of the shell and the inner polystyrene (Fig. 15).
13.4.
Hook the left and right roll neck eyelets to the corresponding frames fixed to the
outer shell, making sure that the central holes on the frames are free (Fig. 15).
14. Cheek pad assembly
14.1. Pull the rectangular textile extension on the back of the left cheek pad and
insert the chin strap into the corresponding slot, extending it out from the op-
posite side of the padding (Fig. 18).
14.2. Put the left cheek pad against the polystyrene inner cheek pad and push the
padding near the snap fasteners on its back in order to fasten them to the
corresponding seats (Fig. 14).
14.3. Insert the left chin strap first in the elastic loop on the roll neck, and then in
the one on the strap embedded in the left cheek pad (Fig. 13). Pull the strap
towards the inside of the helmet.
