Basic Getting Started Tips for Beginning Player

(1) Hands in proper way to grip device

(2) One-handed operation for shooting

Sitting on the chair as much as 

possible, and prop elbows on the 

table top to hold steady. Grip the 

object lens with Left hand thumb and 

index finger; slightly move around 

the camera up and down to reach 

the best working distance; First press 

the shutter button lightly (halfway) to 

focus, then press fully (all the way) to 

take the shot.

Sitting on the chair as much as possible, 

and prop elbows on the table top to hold 

steady. Holding the object with left hand 

(figure 2) or put it on the table, then 

holding camera with right hand and put 

the index finger on the shutter button for 

ready;   Since the shot is being taken, 

while suspend breath to avoid hand 

vibration.

(3) Take the pictures with the stand

For the long time or steady shooting, use X-Loupe® 

series stand for doing up-and-down fine-tuning of 

focusing. Mount the X-loupe® on the stand and set 

the object on the stage then ready for shooting.
An alternative is to use the camera's self-timer 

(for this part of setting, please refer to the camera 

manual); just to set a short-time shutter and start, 

then move right away from the camera, or presses 

it with a wired remote; these tips will reduce hand-

shake and blur images.

How To Focus? 

Center the subject you want in focus and press the shutter button halfway. 

If the camera cannot focus, the AF frame will appear yellow. Slightly 

change the focus ranges (the distance range from your subject) till the AF 

Frame turns green, then press the shutter fully.
