4. CHARGING
A Micro-USB cable comes packaged with your Shiva kit. The
shiva can be charged by plugging your USB cable into a 1 amp
USB port. Insert the charger into the bottom of the device.
The first time you charge the device, it is recommended to
charge for at least six hours. After the first charge, the device
will only take up to three hours to charge each time. The word
SHIVA at the bottom of the device will display in red while
charging and turn green when the battery is fully charged.
5. TIPS
1) Do not overload the heating chamber with dry herb.
2) To prevent overheating, turn off the device when it is not in use.
3) If the vapor significantly reduces, rotate the dry herb
within the chamber.
4) For best result, grind down dry herb or break by hand.
5) Make sure the chamber and cup are completely empty /
cleaned out before refilling.
BEFORE CLEANING, PLEASE INSURE THAT
THE DEVICE IS TURNED OFF.
4. ADDITIONAL TOOLS
: The kit comes with a Packing Tool to
condense dry herb down into the chamber. There is also a
Cleaning Brush to remove residue from the Heating
Chamber. The kit includes a set of Tweezers to remove the
Heating Cup from the Heating Chamber. Unscrew the
mouthpiece to remove it; clean out any residue that may
have fallen into the mouthpiece.
1. FILLING THE DEVICE
: Unscrew the mouthpiece to place
dry herb into the heating chamber; to use concentrate or
e-liquid, insert the heating cup into the heating chamber
and place contents into heating cup. Screw on the
mouthpiece.
2. TURNING ON/OFF THE DEVICE
: Turn the device on or
off by rapidly pressing the power button three times.
The LED light will flicker GREEN while it is heating up.
When the light stops flickering and remains green, this
signifies the device is ready to use and is at its lowest
temperature setting; 374°F. Turn the device off by rapidly
pressing the device button three times, light will turn off.
3. CHANGING THE TEMPERATURE
: The device has three
temperature settings with three corresponding LED colors.
After you have turned on your device, the Shiva will
automatically be set at 374°F and the LED light will be
GREEN. Hold down on the button for three seconds to
increase the temperature to 410°F; a BLUE light will flicker
until temperature is reached and when heated it will remain
blue. To reach the highest setting 446°F, hold down on the
button for three seconds and the light will change from
BLUE to RED and the red light will flicker until the
temperature is reached. After the highest temperature is
reached, hold down on the button for three seconds and the
light will turn back to GREEN and repeat the cycle. When
your desired temperature is reached, you are ready to vape!
