This product is not a toy and should not
be handled by infants and small children.
Children cannot assess the dangers
connected with electrical devices.

plastic bags and risk suffocation.

This device should only be opened and/or
repaired by an expert or a person who is
qualified to do so.

Only original spare parts may be used.

Keep this product away from water, damp-
ness and high humidity. Keep this product
away from vessels containing liquids, e.g.,
buckets, vases or plants.

The product may not be subjected to
extreme heat or cold.
➝
Do not expose the product to intense
sunlight, open fire or other heat sources:
Storage temperature: -0°C to 60°C;
Working temperature: 0°C to 40°C

Do not use this device in a tropical humid
climate. If the product is taken from cold
to warm areas (e.g., during transport),
condensation can occur within the unit.
Let the device reach room temperature
before you use it.

This device may only be used indoors.
Make sure that it is not subjected to water
or high humidity.

This product uses batteries. When
inserting the batteries make sure you have
the correct polarity. Batteries are not a toy
and should not be handled by infants and
small children.
➝
Leaking or damaged batteries can cause
burns or etchings on the skin.
➝
If you have doubts on the function or
questions, please contact your local dealer
or our service center.
➝
Always board in the middle of the scale to
avoid tipping and ensure that you always
enter the scale with dry feet because of
slip hazard.
➝
Ensure that no objects will drop on
the scale - otherwise the glass can be
damaged.
➝
Only clean the scale with damp or dry
cloth and do not use solvents or abrasives.
Do not immerse the scale in water.
➝
Do not use any other batteries then
lithium batteries of the CR2032 type.
Unsuitable batteries can cause fire and
explosion.
➝
The scale must not be used from per-
sons with medical implants (eg cardiac
pacemaker). The function of the implant
can be impaired.
➝
Do not use during pregnancy.
➝
Note that for technical reasons measure-
ment tolerances are possible because it is
not calibrated for professional or medical
use.
➝
The maximum load of the scale is 180 kg
(397 lb).
